Fall is officially here!! It is definitely getting colder outside sand the staff and children of Knox Daycare are soaking up the last warm days of the year. We have experience many improvements to the daycare during the last couple of weeks, including opening a new classroom, laying carpet, and painting rooms, in hopes that all of the work done will better Knox Daycare for everyone.

A big thank you to our new floater, Ashley, who has helped us out a lot recently during the improvements to the daycare returned to school last week.
During the fall season, the daycare will be taking part in several activities. Each classroom will be taking part in a pumpkin carving contest!! Families will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite pumpkin to see which teachers shave the best carvers in the daycare. And of course we cannot forget about Halloween. On October 31st. We will be having a Halloween party, parade, and enjoy some trick-or-treating around the daycare. If parents wish their child(ren) to participate please send a costume with to change into before we begin our activities.
Several staff members are finishing up their training for the year with a presentation on the importance of literacy and how to incorporate science into the classroom. We also have been welcoming lots of new faces and hope to continue to do so.
